How does it work?
How does it work?

Cup libraries are stocks of reusable cups or mugs that are available for event attendees to borrow and return.


Is it free for attendees?

Cup libraries can either be provided to event attendees free of charge, or for a small deposit that is refunded when the cup is returned.


What are the costs to the event?

Upfront

There is an initial cost to purchasing the reusable cups and any associated infrastructure (i.e. return points etc.

Ongoing

Ongoing costs includes replacing broken/missing cups and paying wash-up staff.


Additional infrastructure required

- Trolley, shelf or hook system for storing cups 

- Wash-up station (hand-washing or dishwasher)

- Collection point/s (bin, container or trolley)
