Our project in Douglas Shire was funded by the Australian Government through the Plastic Free Beaches Program.
The 6-month project initially operated from July - December 2021, and was open to any food retail businesses operating in the Douglas Shire, FNQ. We ran it as an extension to our Plastic Free Cairns program.
In January 2022, the project was extended thanks provided by the Qld Government.
