PLASTIC FREE PLACES PROGRAM

The Plastic Free Places (PFP) program works in communities to directly reduce single-use plastic packaging and empower lasting changes towards a circular economy.

We directly engage and provide tailored solutions for food retailers, events and markets to eliminate single-use plastics, ensuring that the right partnerships are in place, addressing barriers to transition, and delivering measurable results.

For more information, see our PFP Program page.

TRIAL PROGRAM

For councils looking to gauge what a PFP program may achieve, we can run a trial version. This involves up to 30 food retailers in an identified precinct over a 6-month period. It's also an option for councils to help transition a key area in their community.

Our trials obtain measurable results to help determine what a full program may deliver, and can be used to gauge community and stakeholder views.

For more information, see our Trial Brief for Councils.

PRESENTATIONS

If your council or organisation is looking to go plastic-free, inspiring your staff and giving them practical tips to reduce plastic in their daily lives and at work is a good place to start.

We can come to your office, do a review of your current practices, and tailor a presentation that shows your staff how they can improve these practices, both in and out of the office.

As an extension to this for councils. we can also meet with your events team and discuss some practical ways to reduce plastic at council-run events.

ONLINE BUSINESS CONSULTATIONS

We can do one-on-one online consultations for businesses to help them transition away from single-use plastics. Through the online platform, businesses are able to show us what items they are using, and we work through with them their best alternatives, taking into account their needs, cost, and how they use the items. We also focus on ways they can avoid, reduce and reuse.

Consultations are 45 minutes, and the service include preliminary research into the local supply chain to identify what suitable alternatives are available to each business.

More information coming soon.

We can assist organisations, franchises, events and universities to go plastic free. Our services include:

We worked with the University of Queensland to help them achieve their UQ Unwrapped program, as well as assisted Grill'd, Raw Energy and RACV Resorts to reduce their plastic footprint.
