WHY YOU SHOULD BE A PLASTIC FREE PLACE

PlasticFreeNoosa-24.jpg

With the current focus on plastic and waste reduction, councils are looking at how they can assist their community to switch away from single-use plastics.

Many take the path of providing information and resources to assist businesses, and encouraging them to proactively seek solutions. While this is a good first step, the limitation with this approach is that:

BUSINESSES OFTEN DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO SEEK SOLUTIONS, AND FOR THOSE THAT TRY, THERE IS SO MUCH OPPORTUNITY FOR THEM TO GET IT WRONG, EVEN WITH THE BEST ADVICE.

To explore the reasons behind this, see our blog Self-managed programs - do they work?

If you'd like to reduce single-use plastics in your community and deliver measurable results, there is no substitute for having an on-ground managed program in place.

What our program offers
