If you don’t have a communications team, here are some communication channels you might like to consider:
 • Website
    • Create a page on your hotel’s website with details of your reusable switches, including updates, photos, and resources. 
    • Encourage guests and partners to share a link to this page via social media to create more awareness.
 • Case Study
    • Document your successes via a case study.
    • Case studies can either be written or video.
    • Share your full video case study on Youtube and social media.
 • Social Media
    • Create and share content about your reusable switches on your social platforms. This can be done any time from the project launch onwards.
    • Consider connecting with influencers or other guests to promote your reusable initiatives. You may even like to create a hashtag they can use for this purpose.
 • Media
    • Prepare a media release and participate in media events that showcase your achievements. 
    • Connect with local environmental organisations also championing plastic free causes to build on a movement!

It’s especially important to communicate your reusable switches to your guests. If you require them to bring reusables to use at your hotel, such as cups or water bottles, include this in your pre check-in emails and texts.
