The Territory's own Plastic Free Places program
Our impact as at August 1, 2023:
*Plastic Free Champions are members that have eliminated all of our key plastic items (straws, coffee cups & lids, takeaway containers & lids, food ware (cutlery, plates, cups etc), water bottles & bags).
Plastic Free NT operated in Darwin from March 2022 - July 2023. The program unfortunately ended due to a lack of funding support , but in its time, it helped over 70 businesses eliminate more than half a million single-use plastic items!

We continue to seek funding opportunities to bring the program back to the Territory.
