QLD INTRODUCES PLASTIC BAN INTO PARLIAMENT

The Queensland Government today tabled legislation to ban plastic takeaway straws, stirrers, cutlery, plates and bowls. The legislation will now go to a Parliamentary Committee for review, and should be passed into law in the next few months.

PLASTIC FREE PLACES TRIALS IN VICTORIA

We're running two new trial programs in Victoria! We’re working with the council and 18 local businesses in each community to assist them to switch away from single-use plastic items, addressing barriers that prevent many businesses from successfully switching.
